May also be known as Eupatorium Perfoliatum, Compositae. Boneset can grow up to 3 feet or more and has a distinctive double leaf which is long, pointed and dark green, and is also speared in the middle by the hollow. The flowers are dense and has clusters with 10 to 16 florets which are white, purple, and blue.
The ailments used traditionally for Boneset herb are treating fevers, colds, coughs, chills, pneumonia, debility, night sweats, constipation, broken bones, urinary tract infections, jaundice, and skin diseases.
