Product Description: A perennial herb that grows 2 to 4 feet high, found in dry fields and along roadsides, and especially along railway banks and near lime kilns. The smooth stems are branched off and the leaves placed on alternate sides of the stems that are smooth and trifoliate, the leaflets are oval shaped. The plants bear long racemes of small, sweet-scented, yellow or white flowers. Traditionally Melilot herb is used for swellings, boils, sores, wounds, , aching muscles, varicose veins, colic, diarrhea, painful menstruation, asthma, headaches, bronchitis, and for lowering blood pressure.
